MEET OUR TEAM

Liz Toombs, Certified Interior Decorator

Owner & President, PDR Interiors

Liz Toombs owns the award-winning decorating firm PDR Interiors. She is a Certified Interior Decorator who, along with her team, offers comprehensive services for private residences as well as sorority houses across the country. The team’s work can be seen on over 70 campuses spread across 22+ states.

Liz has been quoted by notable media outlets including The Huffington Post, The Associated Press, and Realtor.com. She and the company were featured on MSNBC’s Your Business.

Liz is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and is very involved in giving back to the Lexington community through the Junior League and other local charities. She created The Mary Estes Memorial Scholarship in honor of her mother, who passed away from cancer in 2012. The scholarship is awarded annually to a University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment student who has lost a parent from cancer.

Mentoring other women is a keystone of PDR, something Liz learned to value through her fraternity experience as an alumna of Alpha Gamma Delta.  Helping to preserve that experience for current and future members of women’s organizations is what drives Toombs to focus on sorority housing projects.

Erika Wilhelmi, Certified Interior Decorator

Certified Interior Decorator, Erika Ross, has been with PDR Interiors since 2015 when she first interned for the firm. Ross is a University of Kentucky graduate and Louisville resident.

She brings fresh eyes to projects and enlists her detail-oriented nature to make sure everything is perfectly executed from start to finish for clients. Erika specializes in working with sorority clients nationwide. She loves getting to know the different organizations personalities as well as the campus culture and she brings those elements into each project she works on. Getting to see the joy on the chapter member’s faces when they see the finished product is without a doubt her favorite part of the process.

Erika enjoys spending time with her family in Louisville, and slowly updating her first home with her husband Kyle and their rescue pup Kobe.

OUR AREAS OF FOCUS

Residential

A house is not a home until the owner feels comfortable in their surroundings. We meet with owners in their home to hear their needs, assess their goals and see their lifestyle first-hand. Are there children in the home? Pets? Do you like to entertain? Will there be a home office? We talk through these questions and put together a plan to create a home that is loved for generations.

We offer options as simple as space planning, color selection or decor for one room; or as large as selection for the whole house.

Sorority

Greek houses are unique spaces.  They require the durability of a commercial space, with the elegance and comfort of a residential one.  We understand how to blend those characteristics to achieve a fresh, vibrant look that appeals to today’s collegians.  Since 2011, our team has worked on more than 40 Greek projects across 22 states.

We tailor our work to fit the needs of the organization.  Our projects range from updating a one-room suite to a major renovation or new build. Some projects require that we travel to the property, while others allow for us to consult remotely.   Whatever your Greek decor dilemma is, we’d love to talk to you!
